A Good and Decent Man: A Week of Pride in an American President

For the last 6 days the American People have been treated with a rarity in the last 6 years save for the few days following the attacks of 9-11 when the current President appeared if ever so briefly to be everything he isn't. That is a feeling of Pride in Our President. For a brief 6 days we returned to a President of whom we can all be proud President Gerald R. Ford.

How proud I was to remember a President such as Gerald Ford, how proud I was to remember a Republican we all could be proud of, Democrats and Republicans alike before that Grand Ole Party sunk to the low level it has become today.

Gerald Ford was one of us, an American, A Good and Decent Man. That memory "A Good And Decent Man is far greater than such phrases as Great, Greatest or other appellations assumed by the imperial and pompus who would be kings.

Watching President Fords family, his wonderful wife Betty Ford and those children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was like watching any American Family without the pretensions of shallowness so evident in politicians in todays
toxic political atsmosphere that the family Bush and the hijaacked Repbublican Party and Christian Religion has bestowed on us.

Thank you dear President Ford for bring decency to the American Family when it was suffering from the abuse of another Imperial and Criminal Presidency. Thank you for the healing you gave the American Family.

I pray your spirit guides us and protects us during the next two years as we struggle to survive the rule of those who have shamed your beloved Republican Party far worse than Richard Nixon ever did.

Pray for us.

May your spirit rest in the eternal peace so well earned and deserved in the hands of the Creator of us all.

Terel
