PANDORA: Best thing since sliced bread and Southern Sweet Tea

I was driving home from a visit to my sister's yesterday about a 2 hour drive from home and was listening to the NPR station and a program called All Things Considered. The commentator was interviewing folks about their favorite sites on the internet and a very excited lady mentioned a site called PANDORA (http://www.pandora.com) that was just wonderful and the best thing in internet radion on the net. I made a mental note to check it out.

It is really wonderful. All you do is select the kind of music you like and continually respond whether you like the song they have chosen based on your input of artist or song as to whether you like it or not. You are able to create a selection of music ALL OF WHICH YOU LIKE and you can create all the radio stations you like for different kinds of music that you may want to listen to at any particular time.

Best thing since sliced bread or Southern sweet tea. No media matter of any kind to deal with such as records, tapes, cd's, dvd's, mp3 players, ipods or any physical thing whatsoever all from the convenience of your computer desktop. You don't have to listen to tunes or selections you really don't want to hear or buy a complete musical media just for a song or two without any interest in the rest.

All exactly what you like and want to hear, Everything. Just wonderful.

Give it a try. I certainly am impressed.

I made a Carter Family Radio and continually selected other artists similar to the Carter Family as well as the Carter Family such as Norman and Nancy Blake, June Carter Cash, Emily Lou Harris, The Whites and other well know musicians in the Old Time and Bluegrass genre.

I have never been so comletely satisfied and happy with anything on the net.

Just perfect.
