How Hate Is Born.

At this Christmas season I've been thinking a lot about the wonder of Love. The wonder of God's Love in sending His Son to be born as a human destined to suffer a cruel death in order that all humans would have the right to repent of Sin and qualify to become Born Again members of the Family of God.

I've been thinking about my own family too which is becoming greatly diversified in the family of man. I have nieces whose mother is Iranian and I don't really know if they celebrate Christmas or not or just Islamic traditions. I don't see them and haven't ever asked so don't send a Christmas card in order not to offend. But, I don't see why it should.

I can imagine my nieces Yasmin or Serena someday playing with a playmate who is a Christian and their parents observing them happily at play singing songs that children sing. Then their friend starts singing Jesus Loves Me This I Know or Jesus Loves All The Little Children of the World. Suddenly the atsmosphere changes and darkens and Yasmin and Serena don't like that song. They tell their friend that Jesus isn't God. Only Allah is God. They quit playing, pouting and each going into their own corner and finally the little Christian girl leaves angrily picked up by her parents never again to play with Yasmin and Serena. How sad and how Anti any God.

The situation can be reversed in any family in any scenario. The point is that in such a place and time Hate begins. It is carefully taught and in a most cruel manner to innocent children.

God whatever name you call him by does not belong to any nation or culture. His Love is not exclusive to any nation or culture. I don't think words such as infidel, heathen or any of the other names we label those with who don't believe in our particular idea of Him can be found anywhere in His vocabulary or Love.

Nor does it belong in any of the world's religions be it Allah, Yahweh, Budda or Jesus.

The universal Creator God is Love. All Hate is opposite of God. All Hate period. I don't know what has happened to religion in the modern world but it seems to have adopted the opposite of God while at the same time proclaiming deeds of Hate to be in His Name.

Jesus does love the little children, All the children of the world. So does the true Allah, Yahweh, Budda and any of the other gods we have created in our need.

The great commandment says To Love the Lord God with all your might, mind and soul and your neighbor (all other humans) as yourself.

My little Shih Tzu/Yorkie Benjamin does that everyday.

Why can't we?
