Christmas Season and New Year Musings.

I wish George Bush would take a long stiff drink of whiskey and or any of the other drugs he once existed on. Maybe he would become a real person again. He has shown with perfect clairity that the most dangerous people on earth are reformed addicts. They can't have what they need and want most and therefore make damn sure everyone else is miserable and suffers for it too.

Iraq: This disaster whatever your political opinion, whether it be WMD's, creating a democracy in the Middle East, lust for Oil or pure Imperialism will haunt our nation for decades in the most negative way possible.

I wish Congress would pass a Law demanding that any President that starts a war with another country under false premises has to put their own sons and daughters and the sons and daughters of every Senator and Congressman on the front lines of that war.

I wish that it was unacceptable for anyone such as Bush and Cheney who have never served in a combat capacity in the United States Military to ever be allowed to make any decision about the sons and daughters of other Americans being sent into war.

I wish that Fox News would just plain declare the truth that they are not a news organization but the Propaganda Arm of the Republican Party and the White House.

I wish that the Christian Right would actually practice the teachings of Jesus Christ. Ditto for Islam and Judaism.

I wish that anyone individual or Corporation that profits from weapons of war illegally would be put in jail and the keys thrown away.

I wish that any American Employer/Business that knowingly hires an illegal alien would be put in jail and the key thrown away.

I wish that Christmas was more about Christ and less about Santa Claus.

I wish that every human being could see the earth from space and how fragile it is to know that we are all one family, one blood and with one destiny. Maybe then we would learn to love and respect our Mother created for us by the Creator God through the beautiful and awe inspiring process of Evolution.

I wish that Art and Music were more about Art and Music and less about rank commercialism.

I wish that in the area of human sexuality humans became more interested in Love and Caring than who puts what into which orifice of whom.

I wish that the right to die would be left DUH! to the dying.

I wish that the rights of the Family be left DUH! to the Family.

I wish that all the Religions would learn that what really matters is the universal theology of the Natural Rights of Man which is: Do not do unto another what you would not have done unto yourself.

I wish, I wish, I wish and I'll never stop wishing.

Terel
