The Sad Haggard Affair

I've often stated that if Jesus was on earth today and the people who are referred to as the Religious Right or Christian Coalition replaced the Pharasees when they bought the woman caught in adultery to try and trick him that instead of the honesty of even the Pharasees and Publicans of that day who would not throw a stone at the adulterous woman knowing that they indeed were sinners these hypocritical Falwells, Dobsons, Perkins, Robertsons, Reeds etc. would pick up the stones with a smile and great energy stone the woman. The astounding hypocricy of these Counterfeit Christians is profound.

Now one of them Mr. Haggard who heads one of the Mega Churches in La La Land (Colorado Springs) has been caught engaging in a relationship the counterfeit christian hypocrites considers to the the biggest issue on earth today (an issue the Bible has less than a dozen references too almost all of which they misinterpret and lie about) which is homosexuality.

Mr. Haggard while preaching fire, brimstone and damnation against Gay Rights was himself secretly engaging in homosexual relations and furthermore actually paying a male prostitue to do so, in addition to doing meth.

Now his church fuhrers in direct contradiction of Jesus's command to forgive your brother 70 times over and even knowing the story of David with all his many sins and adulteries being a man after God's own heart have thrown their brother out of the very church Mr. Haggard created.

The Counterfeit (un)Christian Right can always be relied upon to do the wrong thing and evidently doesn't have the slightest idea of the Christian concept of Forgiveness.

Neither are they inclined to recognize the great diversity of human nature which our Creator God created.

Mr. Haggard has been a lying hypocrite in the extreme. But, True Christians following the commands of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ should forgive him his sins as his Creator certainly does and welcome him to the fold of humanity.

That's God's way, That's the Christian Way. Pray for Mr. Haggard and treat him far better and more humanely than he ever treated those he persecuted while being one of them.
