Jesus Told The Pharisees

Jesus told the Pharisees not to pray out loud
Pharisees said, we’re righteous and proud
By the congregation we want to be heard
Never mind you’ve forbidden it in your word.

Jesus told the rich young man to share his money
If you want to go to the land of milk and honey
Rich young man said, I can’t do that
Lusting for more he just passed the hat.

Jesus said None was Reverend but the Lord
Like everything else the preacher man ignored
Stole all the names of the Holy One
Thinks he’ll get to heaven when the judgment comes.

Jesus said a lot that no one knows
His teachings are debased by the bankers prose
Before the throne of judgment the deceived will see
His truth and forgiveness is for you and me.
