The Best Years
Is it the last years?
Is the American Dream to end?
Will there be laughter or tears?
Are darker ages around the bend?
Will the soul of the nation be stirred
Or the spirit of the founders shine on?
Will the people correct where they erred?
By choosing a bright new dawn.

Kick the Publicans out
They've blasphemed the Crucifix
Real Christians must turnabout.
We'll start the new century anew
We've braved such plagues before
Of government by and for the few
On our precious freedom's door.
I trust that goodness will rise
To ressurect the American heart
That truth not corruption and lies
Forever from our land depart.
That God's Law is lived in the deed
Instead of mere idols of stone
Once more we'll plant good seed
In a land that all of us own.
