The News Headline That Lies
Shaking head time again. Today's Charlotte Observer and my Home Page News both have a headline blip reading, "Bush makes rebound in North Carolina."
Really!!!!
In 2004 Bush had a 62% favorable rating in the Tar Hell State and received 54% of the vote from assorted counterfeit christian Taliban, and other Publicans and Sinners.
In July and August of 2006 his rating had dropped 21 points from the 2004 rating above at 41.3%.
Late September it is at 45% barely which somehow by some twisted logic equates massive headlines saying the shrub has Rebounded.
Shaking head, and dig this the Charlotte Observer gets all kinds of hateful editorial rantings accusing it of having a "Liberal" bias.
Truthout time. Fact:
Bush is rated 18% LOWER than he was in 2004. That's not a rebound and anything but a majority.
