Just One of those Days.
Another medical day and come and gone and been survived yet once more. First, Paul had a proton check up, then an emergency fill in appointment to check if his shoulder was dislocated after falling off the bed. X-rays and the shoulder was slightly dislocated but will heal with time. Shooting pains in his one leg have left him sleepless. This is an odd thing when your whole leg shakes in pain every few seconds for days. Doctor prescribed a new medication specifically for that.
I barely made it to my doctor's for checkup and as usual he was 45 minutes late before he even got there...he is usually later than that. Keeping and honoring appointments are evidently of little concern to him. I finally informed him that my time was important too and I'd appreciate that having some meaning for him.
I had a 100 degree temperature which I was totally unaware of and blood pressure was high. He had a new very pretty nurse who I could barely understand which was frustrating. English speaking professionals are getting harder and harder to find in the birth place of the first English speaking settlement in the United States. My doctor prescribed a new medication to futher help my COPD.
Halfway home the car "low coolant" light came on and coolant was leaking. Got home and have made appointment to have that taken care of tomorrow.
I got home and made a quick spagetti dinner with some sauce I had made and frozen earlier. Relaxed some with my Autoharp and fell asleep. Kept my regular appointment with Chris Matthew's Hardball and on computer now.
Just one of those days.
